PORTFOLIO

Here you can see a sample of my academic and professional work that I have done. Please read the "Terms of Use" at the bottom of the page first.

All my work have been extensively tested to render and function properly with all major web browsers: Internet Explorer 6/7/8, Mozilla Firefox 2/3, Opera 9/10, Safari 3/4/5, and Google Chrome 4/5/6, on Windows Operating System.

All of the Websites, webpages, or web applications that I authored open internally and were 100% hand-coded using TextPad, and Notepad++, and also using the “Code view” of Dreamweaver. My Flash projects were done using Flash CS3 authoring tool.

Note that the order of my Portfolio is from newest to oldest.

This is the Solid State Lighting Website. This is a database-driven, dynamic website that interacts with a MySQL database. The code is mainly written in PHP, SQL,XML, CSS and JavaScript.

Dynamic Flash Website: {view Dynamic Flash Website}
This is my Newest Company´s Dynamic Flash Website. This Website allows for editing text and images without having to modify and recompile the Flash source file. All the text content and images are in XML files and are dynamically loaded. Moreover, the text is formatted by an external CSS file. The contact form is processed with a server-side PHP code. This Website was hand-coded using Flash CS3, ActionScript 3.0, XHTML, JavaScript, and XML. Photoshop CS3 was extensively used for the images.

The code for this project is written in multiple Languages: Flash CS3/ActionScript 3.0, XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript. Also Photoshop CS3 was extensively used to edit, enhance and resize the pictures.

June 2008 Calendar: {view 1 month calendar}
This is a one-month calendar written in XHTML for structure, CSS for presentation and print, and JavaScript for visual effects. This calendar can be easily extended to include all 12 months of the year, and probably a different background for each season. This calendar prints by default in color with all pictures preserved.
Use {view 1 month calendar -- print in black and white} If you like to print this calendar in black and white with no pictures.

This web page is a general car dealership form written in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. JavaScript was extensively used for user input validation prior to submission of the form.

Intranet Employee directory: {view Employee directory}
This is a database driven, Coldfusion based interactive web application that interacts (read and write) with a Microsoft Access database. From this web application, you can access the employee database, where you can add, update, delete, search, or contact an employee through the interface of the web application. The languages used to write the source code are a combination of HTML, CFML, SQL, JavaScript, and CSS. Feel free to test it, and add your information to the database.
Note: The JavaScript code I wrote for user input validation, does not work for Mozilla/Firefox, it works nicely for IE and Opera and reasonably well for Safari. I will try to fix it for Mozilla/Firefox. Otherwise; I will discuss the issue in the Technical Matters section.

Osram Sylvania LED Signage Calculator: {view web tool}
This is a 4-month project I did for Osram Sylvania. It is a web based LED Signage Calculator. JavaScript language was used to do the mathematical calculations. The formulae used for the calculations are extensive and extremely complicated. In addition I used HTML for structure and CSS for presentation.
